10 August 2016, HSBC for Intermediaries

Forthcoming changes with effect from 10th August

Offer Documents

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 10 August 2016 we will change the way that customers are able to move their application forward to drawdown.

HSBC no longer requires a signed and returned offer document where a conveyancer is used. A 'signatureless offer' will be deemed as binding when we release funds.

Completion fees and KFI+

Please be advised that from 10 August 2016 the CHAPS Fee/Completion Fee/TT/EFT (£30 transfer fee) is to be included as part of the 'total amount repayable' in the KFI+ and on the quote summary screen.

These changes have been made as part of the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD).

It is worth noting that these fees will only be included on the 'total amount repayable' if applicable to your client's case.
